Progress Reports
Progress Reports let you export a detailed summary of your students' work — perfect for record-keeping, umbrella school requirements, or sharing with other educators.
Generating a Report
- Go to the Progress tab
- Tap the Export button
- Configure the report options (see below)
- Tap Generate Report
Report Contents
Each generated report includes:
- Student information — Name, grade, and color
- Curriculum details — Subject, curriculum name, date range
- Progress percentage — Overall completion rate
- Lessons with dates — A list of completed lessons with their completion dates
- Time tracking — Total time spent and per-lesson averages (when timer data is available)
- Grades — Any evaluations you've recorded for each curriculum
Filtering Options
Customize what's included in your report:
- Date range — Select a specific period (e.g., a semester, a month, or the full year)
- Students — Include all students or select specific ones
- Subjects — Include all subjects or filter to specific curricula
Homeschool Name
Configure your Homeschool Name in the report options to have it appear in the report header. This is useful for families who report to an umbrella school or need official-looking documentation.
Sharing & Printing
Reports are generated as HTML files that can be:
- Shared via email — Send directly to an umbrella school or evaluator
- Saved to files — Store on your device or cloud storage
- Printed — Open in a browser and print for physical records
The HTML format ensures reports look good on any device and can be easily printed with proper formatting.
Tip: Generate reports regularly (monthly or quarterly) to keep your records up to date. It's much easier than trying to reconstruct progress at the end of the year!
